VANTourer model year 2027

From 28 August to 6 September 2026, the caravanning industry will be showcasing its latest innovations for the coming season at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. EuroCaravaning will also be there with its VANTourer models for the 2027 model year. The focus is on the newly developed and patent-pending vario bathroom 2.0, making its world premiere in the 600 D and 630 L layouts. The development of the new bathroom concept combines technical expertise with the experiences and feedback of VANTourer customers. “Many campers want a full-size bathroom despite the vehicle’s compact dimensions,” explains Steffen Gross, Managing Director of EuroCaravaning. “With the vario bathroom 2.0, we are responding to this demand and creating a solution that makes the available space even more versatile.”

From side bathroom to full-size bathroom

The vario bathroom 2.0 combines the compact design of a side bathroom with the flexibility of a full-size bathroom. When needed, the bathroom area can be expanded in just a few simple steps. Unlike traditional solutions with a shower curtain, this creates a fully enclosed shower area. The newly developed sliding-door mechanism separates the bathroom from the living area, creating a private, fully enclosed space. At the same time, the flexible layout provides noticeably more freedom of movement whenever additional space is needed. The innovative bathroom concept is patent-pending.

The vario bathroom 2.0 will be available from December in the 600 D and 630 L layouts and will be presented to the public for the first time at the Caravan Salon. All other layouts will continue to feature the proven vario bathroom concept.

Well-defined functional areas in a compact space

Alongside the new bathroom concept, VANTourer continues to offer its well-established 4-zone kitchen for the 2027 model year. Cooking, washing up, refrigeration and preparation are clearly separated and arranged to ensure efficient workflows even in a compact space. The kitchen is equipped with an energy-saving 90-litre compressor fridge with a double-hinged door that can be opened from both inside and outside.

The kitchen concept is complemented by VANTourer’s clever storage solution. It makes efficient use of the available space, providing up to 40 percent more storage space at the rear. For added comfort, optional extras include a pop-up roof with panoramic views, a drop-down bed for all layouts, and a connection for an outdoor shower at the rear.

Built-in safety as standard

In the 2027 model year, all VANTourer panel vans are equipped with a range of driver assistance and safety systems as standard, in line with the EU GSR II safety regulation. These include, among others, an emergency braking system, a lane departure warning system, an intelligent speed assistant and a driver fatigue warning system. These systems support the driver in everyday situations while enhancing safety and comfort on the road.

Experience the 2027 model year first-hand

At stand B01 in Hall 12, visitors will have the opportunity to experience the Variobad 2.0 in person for the first time and receive personalised advice on vehicles, specifications, and show offers. Selected layouts from the 2027 model year are already available at short notice and can be pre-ordered during the show.
