As standard, the VANTourer comes equipped with airbags, ABS, ESP and Grip Control, including Hill Descent Control (intelligent electronic differential traction+). From model year 2027 onwards, GSR II adds further systems at no extra cost: Emergency Brake Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Intelligent Speed Assist and Driver Fatigue Warning.
The Co-Driver Safety Pack is available as an option as part of the Prime Package. It includes traffic sign recognition, automatic dipped-beam headlamps, rain and light sensors, emergency braking assist with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control including Follow-to-Stop, and active lane-keeping assist.

Please note: Additions, modifications or installations that are not carried out by authorised VANTourer dealers may compromise your safety and result in the loss of your general operating licence and warranty. Therefore, repairs and retrofits should only be carried out by authorised dealers using original VANTourer extras.
Retrofitting and installations are technically possible, but may incur additional assembly and material costs and, in individual cases, may result in the exclusion of certain special request combinations. We reserve the right to make technical changes to the design, colour and equipment, provided that these serve the purpose of technical progress.

The gas bottle compartment in the VANTourer is designed for the Campingaz type R 907 gas bottle with a 2.75 kg gas filling. This bottle is guaranteed to fit and is easy to exchange or purchase throughout Europe.
Can I use other gas cylinders?
Other small gas cylinders – such as standard 3 kg steel cylinders – may also fit, but there is no guarantee. Please check the dimensions of your gas cylinder individually before using it in the VANTourer.
No, a gas cylinder is not included in the standard equipment. However, it can be purchased separately from many camping retailers or DIY stores.
