It is infinitely adjustable and creates practical storage space underneath – e.g. for bicycles, luggage or sports equipment.
Yes, the fold-down bed replaces the classic fixed bed in the rear. Its flexible height adjustment offers more storage space and comfort. An additional, permanently installed bed can be configured under the fold-down bed as an option – ideal for up to four people.
Many VANTourer models can be retrofitted with a fold-down bed. Thanks to standard pre-installation, the system can be integrated at a later date. Please contact your VANTourer dealer to find out whether retrofitting is possible for your panel van.
The fold-down bed can be easily adjusted manually to any height. Depending on the desired storage space or sleeping position, it can be flexibly adjusted in height – without any complicated modifications.
The fold-down bed is available as an option for all four layouts in the VANTourer model series: 540 D, 600 D, 600 L and 630 L.
The fold-down bed is designed for two people and has a maximum load capacity of up to 220 kg (depending on the model). It is robustly constructed and offers a safe and comfortable place to sleep, even when raised.
